Qualification

• Candidates should have passed Any Degree
• The applicant must be able to speak, read and write the Bengali language.

Physical Standards

Physical Measurements:

SI (UB – Male): 

• Candidates of all categories: 167 cm (Height), 56 Weight (in kg.), 79 cms Chest (with a minimum expansion 05 cm)
• Gorkhas, Garhwalies, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes: 160 (Height (in cm.)), 52 Weight (in kg.), 76 cms Chest (with expansion – 5 cms.)

SI (AB – Male):

• Candidates of all categories: 173 (Height (in cm.)), 60 Weight (in kg.), 86 cms Chest (with expansion – 5 cms.)
• Gorkhas, Garhwalies, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes: 163 (Height (in cm.)), 54 Weight (in kg.), 81 cms Chest (with expansion – 5 cms.)

SI (UB- Female):

• Candidates of all categories: 160 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm.)), 48 Weight (in kg.)
• Gorkhas, Garhwalies, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes: 155 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm.)), 45 Weight (in kg.)

SI (UB- Transgender):

• Candidates of all categories: 162 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm.)), 51 Weight (in kg.)
• Gorkhas, Garhwalies, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes: 157 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm.)), 47 Weight (in kg.)

SI (AB- Transgender):

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

• Male (UB & AB) – 800 meters run within 3 minutes
• Female (UB) – 400 meters run within 2 minutes
• Transgender (UB & AB) – 400 meters run within 1minute 40 seconds
