Age Limit (as on 01-07-2022)

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age limit for Local to AP & Also Working in AP Police Dept: 32 Years
• i.e., must have been born not earlier than 02-07-1990 and not later than 01-07-2004
• Maximum Age Limit for Others: 24 Years
• i.e., must have been born not earlier than 02-07-1998 and not later than 01-07-2004
• Maximum Age Limit for Widows/ Divorced Women/ Woman Judicially separated from her husband of SC & ST Categories: 42 Years
• i.e., must have been born not earlier than 02-07-1980 and not later than 01-07-2004
• Widows/ Divorced Women/ Woman Judicially separated from her husband (Others): 37 Years
• i.e., must have been born not earlier than 02-07-1985 and not later than 01-07-2004
• Age Relaxation is Applicable as per Rules.

• For All Candidates: Candidate Should Posses Intermediate or Its Equivalent.
• For SC/ ST Candidates: Candidate Should Posses SSC or Its Equivalent.

Physical Standards

Physical Measurements Test (PMT)

For all Candidates: 

i)Men: For Post Code No: 21 & 23

• Height: Must not be less than 167.6 CMS
• Chest: Must not be less than 86.3 CMS Round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 CMS

ii)Women: For the Post Code No: 21

• Height: Must not be less than 152.5 CMS
• Weight: Must not be less than 40 Kgs

For ST & Aboriginal Tribes of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Vishakapatnam, East Godavari & West Godavari:

i)Men: For the Post Code No: 21 & 23

• Height: Must not be less than 160 CMS
• Chest: Must not be less than 80 CMS Round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 3 CMS

ii)Women: For the Post Code No: 21

• Height: Must not be less than 150 CMS
• Weight: Must not be less than 38 Kgs
